The Last Faith has dozens of weapons for you to find, such as The Devourer of the Betrayed.

However, it’s not as easy as just grabbing it in some random place or buying it. This weapon requires you to complete a puzzle by exploring one of the game’s main areas.

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to get the powerful Devourer of the Betrayed!

How to Get The Devourer of the Betrayed Weapon

The Devourer of the Betrayer has a small puzzle you must complete to get it. Or rather, it would be more apt to say you have to go on a hunt.

There are 4 Chained Souls hidden within the City of Mythringal. You need to find all four of them and hit them, which will light up four unique tombs in the graveyard.

You will also need to have the Celestial Larva so you can double jump. Moreover, having the Propulsion Boots would also help, too.

When you’re ready, it’s time to start hunting Chained Souls!

The first Chained Soul is the easiest one, as it’s just residing at the end of a long room near the bottom of the city. Defeat the enemies in the room, then take the exit to the right.

You’ll find the poor Chained Soul alone in the room; give it a good smack!

The second one is at the top left corner of the City of Mythringal. You can only reach it if you already have the double jump ability, as mentioned before.

Then take the exit to the left and keep going until you reach the 2nd Chained Soul.

Now, the third Chained Soul is a bit trickier. It’s at the top right corner of the city, but you’ll need to jump across the rooftops to reach it.

Now, time for the fourth and final Chained Soul! This one can only be reached from the Site Cave area. If you’ve already met Aldrich, the Chained Soul is in the same area as Aldrich was.

Use your double jump and grappling hook to reach the high ledge in the left part of the room.

Then just keep going left through the hallway until you find the final soul. As always, you’ll need to deal with some enemies too.

Now that all Chained Souls have been freed and returned to their tombs, you’ll need to go to the Mythringal graveyard. It’s the room marked in the map above.
