The Last Faith: How To Get All Endings Guide

You must have heard that there are multiple endings in The Last Faith. Well, you’ve heard it correctly. The game offers a rich narrative with 3 possible endings waiting for you to be discovered. In fact, you can even experience all of them in a single playthrough.

And if you’re aiming for a completionist run, you also wouldn’t want to miss out on the associated achievements with the endings.

However, while it’s theoretically possible to achieve all endings in a single playthrough, you’ll have to be precise through the choices you make. That’s why I’ve come up with this guide, to help you experience all the extra content in easy-to-follow steps.

How To Get All Endings Guide

Before we proceed, it’s important to know that it’s possible to experience all the endings in 1 playthrough, however, you’ll have to follow these steps, otherwise you’ll only get two endings.

NOTE: Also, make sure not to progress too far into the story, as you’ll miss out on several achievements, trophies and even the 3 possible endings.

For this guide, you’d want to start from Lady Annika’s Quest, and still be able to defeat the Harbinger of Nightmare & Starlight Beast of Illygarth bosses.

That’s why I’d recommend that you get to experience all of these 3 endings first, before deciding to further progress into the game.

Complete Lady Annika’s Quest

First, you’ll have to complete Annika’s Quest, for that we have a complete guide (with map images) that you might want to check out: The Last Faith: Bell of the Ball Achievement & Trophy Guide | Lady Annika’s Quest.

But to sum it up for you, it simply goes as:

1. Talk to Annika in the City of Mythringal.
2. Talk to the Veiled Maiden in the City of Erlim.
3. To complete the mission, talk to Annika in the Mansion (Oxyneville’s Manor).

Get The “Second Skin” Mask & Talk To The Ghost Lady

Afterwards, you’ll have to buy the Second Skin mask, which becomes available from the Veiled Maiden after finishing Annika’s Quest for 10,000. You can find her on the same location in the City of Erlim.

For the exact location, you may refer to the map image below. After acquiring the mask, you may then proceed to the next step.

Make your way the Ghost Lady (you can only talk to her if you have the Second Skin mask). She’ll be located in the Esk Mansion. For the exact location, feel free to refer to the map image below.

Afterwards, she’ll reveal a trail of ghastly skulls for you to follow. This will lead you to the next step.

Defeat Harbinger Of Nightmare Boss & Get Esk’s Left Eye

After talking to the Ghost Lady, you may now make your way to the Harbinger of Nightmare boss, which is located in the Esk Mansion as well.

For the exact location, it’ll be on the bottom-left side of the map as shown in the image below.

After defeating the boss, you’ll then want to proceed through the story and acquire Esk’s Left Eye.

There’s also a Right Eye, but you’d only want to acquire it after you get the two endings tied to the Left Eye.

NOTE: Make sure you don’t collect both eyes, and you can see all three endings in one playthrough.

First, go for the accept ending, then the refuse ending. After that, grab the eyes and choose the refuse+extra ending. (I’ll go more in-detail, further in the guide)

If you already have both eyes, you’re stuck with just the two endings.

Ending #1 Hail To The King (Accept the Throne)

After getting the Right Eye, continue through the story until you’re given the option on whether to accept or reject the throne.

In order to get the Ending #1, you’ll want to select the “Accept the throne” option. You’ll also get the “Hail to the King” achievement, as well as a cutscene. Afterwards, you’ll get into the game’s ending credit roll.

But no worries, after that, you’ll still be able to continue playing the game. You may now proceed to the next step.

Ending #2 Embrace The Cosmic Voice (Reject the Throne – 1 Esk’s Eye)

After achieving the Ending #1, the game resets from your last saved file (before you decide the fate of the throne), and you may then choose the other option, which is to reject the throne.

Doing so will get you to experience Annabella & Caterina boss fight. After that, you’ll get the Ending #2 and the “Embrace The Cosmic Voice” achievement.

NOTE: This will only take effect if you don’t have both Esk’s Eyes in your inventory.

After the cutscene, you’ll again be taken to the credit roll. The game will reset, you’ll be taken into your last saved file similar to before, and you may now proceed to the final step.

Ending #3 All Will Be Revealed (Reject the Throne – 2 Esk’s Eye)

You’ve now experienced the first 2 endings of the game, which leads us to the final one, which is the true ending of the game.

First, teleport to the Banks of the Moonshade Lake, which is hidden in the bottom part of the Damned Ruins of the Osseus Fortress.

Go deeper into the right side of the cave and arrive an open area, which is the Moonshade Lake. Here, you’ll come across a secret boss fight, which is against Starlight Beast of Illygarth.

By the way, beating this secret boss will get you an achievement as well as the Illygarth Boreal Blade.

Now, after the bossfight, you’ll want to make your way further deeper into the right side of the cave, this area that has questions marks as shown in the image below.

Inside, you’ll see a chest, which contains the Esk’s Right Eye. And now, you have both Eyes!

To proceed, you’d want to make your way back again to the throne. Then, you’ll have to choose to “Reject the throne” and will have to fight Annabella & Caterina for the second time.

Afterwards, you’ll get an additional cutscene aside from the one in Ending #2. This time, you’ll meet Madeya, The Cosmic Voice, and there will be a bossfight with her.

Once you’re done with the fight, you’ll get the 3rd Ending, the true ending of The Last Faith.

And there you have it! You’ve experienced all 3 endings in The Last Faith. You may now proceed to explore deeper into the game’s story and content, as well as make your completionist run.
