Stalker 2 – Find the Swamp Stash Guide | Heart of Chornobyl

The “Seek, and you shall find” quest in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl requires you to find a swamp stash.

This swamp stash is in the aptly named Swamps region, but there are actually two different stashes that count for this. You can get one of them pretty early in the game, but the other one is locked until much later in the story. Both of them are also counted as a Journalist’s Stash!

In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find both Journalist’s Stashes in the Swamps region.

Find the Swamp Stash Guide

First off, note that there are two swamp stashes for you to find, as we mentioned before. Both of them are marked as a Journalist’s Stash, as well. These are exclusive to the “Seek, and you shall find” quest, which is only available to you if you pre-ordered the game or purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions. The stashes don’t appear otherwise!

With that in mind, let’s go over both of the Journalist’s Stashes in the Swamps!

Northern Swamps

You can find the first swamp stash in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl inside the Horodyshche Hamlet, in the northwestern corner of the Swamps region.

Once you reach the Horodyshche Hamlet, look for a barn with a tractor on the eastern part of the hamlet. Jump on the tractor and use it to jump onto the barn’s roof.

On the barn’s roof, you’ll see some wooden planks blocking the entrance. Just break them with any weapon you want and get inside the barn.

The swamp stash will be right in front of you, on the opposite end of the barn. You only have to be careful not to fall down one of the holes onto the ground level! It’s pretty easy to reach it, other than that.

Southern Swamps

The second Journalist’s Stash in the Swamps is in the southeastern corner of the region. In fact, this is the southeastern corner of the entire game’s map!

However, note that you cannot reach this stash until later in the game. There’s an Anomaly covering the whole area and it will teleport you whenever you attempt to get deeper into the swamp. Progress through the story until you go to the Clear Sky Base in the Swamps.

Once you get to the marked spot, look for an abandoned barracks building and enter it.

You’ll find the Journalist’s Stash next to one of the bunkbeds inside the barracks.
