“Nose Grind” is one of the many tricks that can feature as a Trick of the Day in Skate 4. This is a fairly standard grind trick, though that doesn’t mean it’s trivial to pull off. It can be a bit finicky to do, mainly due to how you need to land on rails and ledges to do it. If you need to do this trick, read on! We’ll tell you everything you need to pull it off.

How to Nose Grind | Skate 4 – Trick of the Day Challenge

Doing a Nose Grind is pretty simple, at least when it comes to inputs. To do it, you just need to push the right stick up as you approach the rail or ledge you wish to grind. This will make your character land with the front of the board, resulting in a Nosegrind! You can see an example of it in the clip above.

Now, the tricky thing about this trick is that you need to be mindful of how you approach the grind. Your entire board has to be vertically parallel to the rail or ledge. If you’re off, you’ll likely land a bit skewed to the side, which will result in a Noseslide instead. While similar, this is a different trick.

If you’re doing this as a “Trick of the Day” task, also make sure to keep in mind how many times you have to do the trick. It’s usually 3 to 5, and these can all be done in the same spot if you wish. Truthfully, we doubt it’ll take you long to pull it off!
