There are numerous challenges in Skate 4. The Backwash Goals just add to the list. In this challenge, you have to complete four different goals. If you’re having trouble, we’ve made a guide just for you.
Heelflip to Manual
Let’s break down each trick you have to pull off:
If you need to know how to Heelflip, check out our guide. I’ll give you the classic controls to complete the Heelflip: move the right stick down, and then flick up to the right in a diagonal motion. It should resemble a checkmark almost exactly. You will pop this in midair.
Once you perform the Heelflip, you will then land and complete the Manual. The Manual is done as you land as a way to continue into other tricks, usually. To perform a Manual, you will slightly pull down on your right stick. This gives you a balancing effect on your back wheels.

Grab 360 Spin
To complete this goal, you will need to Grab 360 spin off the statue. In order to do this, you will need to gain some speed. And as you are coming to the top of the statue, pop an Ollie.
Then, use your left stick and pull it either left or right (just depends on which way you want to spin). To grab, you will use hold your RT or LT on Xbox or R2/L2 on PlayStation.

FS Pop-Shuvit to Grind
For this goal, you will go to the rail underneath your starting area. However, gain some speed by using the ramp first.
Then, once you pop onto the rail, you will perform the FS Pop-Shuvit by pulling your right stick down and rolling it quickly up the right side, stopping before reaching the complete top. This will make your board spin in front of you.
You will now perform the grind. You can do a 50-50 Grind by pulling your right stick all the way down, or a 5-0 Grind or Nosegrind by pulling slightly left or right, or you can even flick sideways for a Boardslide/Lipslide. This has to be done right after the FS Pop-Shuvit for it to count.

Best Sequence – 600
The easiest way to complete this goal is to gain a lot of speed and then front flip off the ramp directly in front of the statue. You will then land on the ramp, where you can perform a Manual and then really, any other trick you want.
The front-flip alone gets you over 300 points, so it’s not too hard to finish the combo with a Manual and one other trick.

The Backwash Goals challenge isn’t as hard as it seems to be. It’s just a couple of combo moves and racking up some points. As long as you can master these tricks, you should be flying through this challenge in no time.
