Season 1 of Skate 4 introduces the new Skate Pass, which allows you to unlock various goodies by spending Tix.

This is basically a standard Battle Pass system, as used by other live service games. Complete timed tasks in-game to get a currency, then spend it to get items. It’s as simple as that!

But, basics aside, how exactly does it work in Skate 4? Well, that’s exactly what we’re about to detail in this quick guide.

How to Get Tix & Level Up Skate Pass | Skate 4

To start with all of the Skate Pass-related stuff, you’ll want to first pause the game. Then, use R1 (PlayStation) or RB (Xbox) to switch over to the rightmost tab. That’s the Skate Pass tab, where you can find your Skate Pass progress. Pretty straightforward!

Now, to get Tix, you’ll want to select the Tasks option. It’s one in the center-right part of the screen, as shown above.

This will allow you to see all of your various Daily, Weekly, and Seasonal Tasks. As their names indicate, they rotate after some time! Dailies every day, weeklies every week, and seasonal tasks every in-game season.

These Tasks all involve you performing specific actions in the game. They can range from something as simple as doing a specific trick a few times, to something more involved, like completing a set number of Goals in Challenges.

What’s more, completing a full set of Dailies and Weeklies before they reset will allow you to claim an extra reward. This gives you some extra Tix, as well as Rip Chips.

Another way to get Tix is to complete specific Challenges. Look at your map in-game and you can spot special Challenges that have the Tix icon. Completing their Goals will reward you with Tix instead of the usual neighborhood Rep and Rip Chips.

As a last method, you can also just select Get Tix from the Skate Pass menu. This will allow you to spend San Van Bucks (real-life money) in exchange for Get Tix. It’s up to you if you want to use or ignore this option.

Once you’ve accrued some Tix, go back to the Skate Pass menu and select the season’s Scene Zine on the left side of the screen.

You can now spend your Tix to trade them in for the many goodies within the Skate Pass itself!

Some items will require you to purchase the Premium version of the Skate Pass, however. Others will require you to complete the page they’re on by getting all other items in the set, as well. Keep that in mind.

That’s all you need to know to be able to get the new Tix currency and level up your Skate Pass in Skate 4. All that’s left for you to do is to get out there and shred for some Tix!
