“Good Luck” is definitely one of the hardest Challenges to do all Goals for currently in Skate 4. This Stunt Challenge requires some surprisingly precise timing, as well as mastery over how to maximize your airtime. If the game had a more linear system, we could easily see this being the final Stunt Challenge! Read on if you’re having trouble with this one. We’ll give you tips to help make it more manageable.

Good Luck Goals Guide | Skate 4

Total Slam Score (10,000)

Player looking at Good Luck's Goals in Skate 4

The first Goal on the list is a fairly simple one. For this one, you just need a total Score of 10,000 points. Considering how absurd the other Goals are, you’ll naturally get this one as you do the rest of the Challenge. So, don’t worry about this one!

Caveman Onto the Rooftop + Land in the Rooftop Dumpster

We’re going to put these two together, as they work in tandem. These are also the “easiest” of the lot to do.

For this one, you want to pump 4 times as you follow the arrows off the rooftop. Once you’re at the edge, do an Ollie to jump off the rooftop and then dismount your board by pressing Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation).

While off your board, do a Spread Eagle (R1 + X on PlayStation, RB + A on Xbox) to maximize airtime. Then, aim for the white rooftop that the arrows lead you to. Once you’re close to it, press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) again to mount your board.

Do this right and you’ll do a Caveman, landing on the curved section of the rooftop and skating away. This can be super finicky, so don’t feel bad if you can’t do it consistently. Our main recommendation is to mount the board while you still have some distance to fall.

Once you do that, follow the arrows again while pumping and Ollie off the corner of the rooftop again. Then, use the Spread Eagle and Torpedo (R1 + Circle on PlayStation, RB + B on Xbox) to land on the highlighted dumpster.

This whole Sequence can be very tricky to pull off, and it’s the easiest of the lot! If you lack the airtime to reach the dumpster, try using the Torpedo right before the Caveman. This can give you a large boost of speed, but the timing is hard.

Land in the Garage Dumpster

For this next Goal, you more or less have to do the same steps as for the previous one. Except you’ll need to get more distance off the second rooftop. You’ll need to fly into the middle of the large parking lot nearby, which is where the dumpster is hiding. Follow the clip above so that you know where you need to land.

In this case, it’s almost mandatory for you to either release the Spread Eagle or do a Torpedo before the Caveman. You don’t get enough speed and airtime otherwise. Also, as you can see in the clip above, doing a Torpedo against the ground can help too. This will make your character bounce, allowing you to get extra distance if you barely missed the spot.

Land in the Broken Globe

Last but definitely not least, the final Goal requires you to reach the broken globe in the statue that’s past the parking lot. To be able to do this, we recommend following the example in the video above.

To summarize, you basically need to Caveman into the rooftop, ignoring the arrows. Instead of following them, try to come onto the rooftop at an angle from the right. Then, fly off the far left corner instead of the far right one as you have before. This should make it much easier for you to go past the parking lot.

Truth be told, though, this is definitely way easier said than done. It can take dozens of tries to get it just right. That might be why the Challenge is called “Good Luck!” It does require a lot of luck to ace it.

Nonetheless, that’s all you need to know to be able to clear the “Good Luck” Challenge and all its Goals in Skate 4. If you want an easier Stunt Challenge, how about trying the “Bushwacker” Challenge? It’s definitely a lot simpler…
