Manual Revert and Heelflip are two of the many basic tricks you should learn in Skate 4. The Manual Revert changes your stance while doing a manny, while the Heelflip is one of the many Flip Tricks in the game. These two are also required by certain challenges. Particularly, the “Manual Reversion” one, which requires both! Read on, we’ll explain how to do both of these tricks with ease.
How to Manual Revert and Heelflip | Skate 4

To do a Manual Revert, you first need to start a manual. You can do so by just lightly nudging the right stick downward. Then, to do the Revert, push the left stick to the right and rotate it in a half circle downward toward the left. If that sounds confusing, we recommend looking at the input example in the screenshot above.
Now, as for the Heelflip, that’s a lot easier to pull off. To do it, you just need to flick the right stick diagonally up and to the right! If you’re using Classic controls, you’ll need to first move it down and then flick it up and to the right.
If you’re doing these as part of the “Manual Reversion” Challenge, we recommend following a Sequence similar to the one in the clip shown above. The main thing to keep in mind is that you can segue into manuals from flip tricks and keep the sequence.
You just need to make sure to do the input for the manual before you land. It’s easier said than done, but it just requires some practice to pull off. If you’ve already done challenges like “Manny Go Round”, the idea here is similar.
That’s all you need to know to be able to pull off the Manual Revert and Heelflip tricks in Skate 4! We hope this helps you nail these tricks with ease moving forward.
