Poppy Playtime Chapter 2: All VHS Tapes Locations

Poppy Playtime might come with a lot of jumpscares all throughout the game, but it also comes with some sort of a minigame in the form of collectibles which, in this case, are VHS tapes. You don’t really need them to progress through the game, but if you want to include a bit of challenge into your playthrough and get access to all of the game’s content, then collecting them is an option.

In this guide, we’re going to look at all of the locations for all VHS tapes in Chapter 2 of Poppy Playtime.

All VHS Tapes Locations in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2

There are a total of 7 VHS tapes in the game, each with its own unique color. They’re as follows:

Brown Tape – Elliot Ludwig Biography

This one can be found near the very start of the game. To get it, you’ll need to enter Elliot Ludwig’s office and make your way toward the table. The VHS tape will be sitting on top of it.

Bright Green Tape – Green Hand Tutorial

This tape is located on the command panel inside the small factory. To get here, you’ll need access to Muscle Memory which can be obtained after using the lever found in Game Station.

From there, fall down through a hole then use the lever to light up the room. The tape will be in the command panel inside that room.

Cyan Tape – Rich Avery

This one is inside the storage room shortly after Muscle Memory. You’ll be able to find it stuck in a staircase.

Blue Tape – Marcus Brickley

The next tape is a blue tape which is found at the start of the Barry Cart puzzle. Simply go through the minecart section and look out for the VHS tape lying on the floor just next to a blue TV.

Green Tape – Jimmy Roth

The green VHS tape is located inside the Water Treatment area. To find it, simply push the left button and then the right button on the panel.

You will notice the main bridge in the front lining up. Just hop on it to get to the other side where the tape is lying on the floor.

Red Tape – Big Spider Warning

The next tape is a red one which is found after the Bunzo Bunny production. Go through the vents until you come across a puzzle room with a red light on it. Get to the other side using the blue hand and you’ll find the tape inside the googly eye panel, though you can’t get it yet.

To open the panel, you’ll have to use your left hand to grab electricity from the round panel on the wall to power the closed door to open it. Simply grab the red tape right after.

Black Tape – Experiment 1-0-0-6

The last tape is found after taking down Mommy Long Legs. Simply go all the way up until you get to Bay 6.

Then, take a U-turn once you encounter some brick walls, jump to the other side, and just follow the path until you get to the staircase with the black VHS tape lying on the ground just close to the VCR player.
