If you like open world sandbox games then Pax Dei is a must try. It features a massive world for you to explore and you can even play with your friends. This game is not yet fully developed and is still in Early Access. You can find it here on Steam.
In an open world game like this, gathering various kinds of resources is crucial. Those resources are used in crafting and building stuff later on. Each area in the game will have a limited amount of resources available at any given time. To help you out with that, this guide will give you the time it takes for resources to respawn.
When Do Resources Respawn?
Getting straight to the point, the respawn time of gatherables (items that are picked up from the ground) and mineable ores (such as Iron, Clay, Copper, Tin, Granite, etc.) is 30 minutes.
So, if you mine an ore or pick something from the ground, it will respawn there after just 30 minutes.
How can this benefit me?
Since Pax Dei is an online game, a lot of other players beside you will be playing in the same world as you. Which means, they will also go after the resources that you want.
The resources available in the world are limited so keeping up with some of the players out there can be very difficult. But since now you know when the resources will respawn, you can use this to your advantage and time your resource gathering session accordingly.
If everything else fails, just wait 30 minutes in an area where resources can spawn and you will see them pop right in front of you. And once they do, gather (or mine) them as quickly as possible.
This is it for this guide, I hope it was informative! Something else that can help you out a lot is eating the right kinds of foods for the right job. We have an in-depth guide for that, where I expand on what the best foods to use in Pax Dei are!
