Pax Dei has a total of 16 different Professions, each representing a different skill that you can level up and master. Most of the Professions in this game will have workbenches or structures that will allow you to craft items relevant to that Profession.

One of the most important pieces of equipment that you can unlock in this game is the Furnace. We will be looking at how you can unlock the tier 2 version of the Furnace in this game.

How to Unlock Furnace Tier 2

The tier 2 version of the furnace in this game is called “Furnace”, and tier 1 is called “Basic Furnace”. Like most other structures in this game, you can craft the Furnace, but to do so, you will need to meet specific requirements and have the right tools.

  • 60 Gneiss
  • 30 Clay
  • 120 Bricks
  • Furnace Plans

Clay and Gneiss are basic ingredients that you can mine in Pax Dei. You can check out our location guides for Clay and Gneiss for their exact location.

The other 2 ingredients that go into crafting a Furnace must first be crafted themselves.

Bricks

Bricks recipe

Bricks are a craftable ingredient in Pax Dei that can be crafted at the Pottery Kiln. You will need 40 Clay and Charcoal to craft it.

If you don’t have a Pottery Kiln, you can craft it using:

  • 1 Pottery Molds
  • 25 Gneiss
  • 12 Fine Wooden Planks
  • 12 Short Wood Stock

In total, you will need 120 Bricks to craft a Furnace. This is an extremely high amount, so make sure you have plenty of Clay and Charcoal on hand.

Furnace Plans

Furnace Plans recipe

The Furnace Plans can be crafted at the Blacksmith Workbench. You will need to be at least level 16 in Blacksmithing before you can craft the Furnace Plans. For its recipe, all you need is 1 Brick and 1 Rawhide.

10 Rawhide in this game can be crafted using 10 Large Rough Animal Hide. While this recipe just requires 1 Animal Hide, there are a ton of other recipes that require Animal Hide. Having more in this case is a positive.

Once you have the 4 ingredients required to craft the Furnace, you should be able to craft it and place it at your base to replace the Basic Furnace.

Having a Furnace will allow you to craft plenty of new items, so if you are your clan’s primary Blacksmith, make sure you get the Furnace as soon as possible.
