Assassin’s Creed Shadows has all sorts of side content and free unlockable stuff that you can get by simply playing the game and completing certain non-essential activities. In this guide, we will be covering the “Mine Echoes” anomaly that you might have seen once you unlock a certain feature of the game. This is extremely simple and will go away in a few days as of writing this, so you better hurry!
Mine Echoes Guide
Before we begin, it is important to note that this is an anomaly, and you might not be able to see this until you meet certain conditions in the game. With that said, it is highly unlikely that you are even reading this if you do not already have it, though we have seen at least one person ask about it.
Now, as for what you have to do with the “Mine echoes” objective, all you need to do is go to Azuchi Castle, which is found at the Omi region. Refer to the map image below if you need some visual aids.
Once you get there, just head up the main keep building and just climb up the floors or sneak your way through other entrances until you reach the purple marker. Upon reaching where the room where the marker is, you will notice that it is actually pointing you to a chest.
Just loot the chest and you are done! You will get some data fragments as a reward and even quite a bit of experience. One thing to note is that it can bug out on rare occasions.
If for any reason it will not show up for you, head to the roof and synchronize with this region to unlock a fast travel point here. Then, either intentionally die and respawn nearby or fast travel out and back in. These are some of the possible fixes for the issue, but hopefully you will not have any problems with it!
Franco is a writer and avid gamer who spends a lot of his free time looking for the next obscure indie roguelike to add to his collection. If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
