If you’re tired of watering your pots manually in Schedule 1, it’s time to learn how to use Pot Sprinklers.
Pot Sprinklers are a type of unlockable equipment you can get pretty early in the game. These handy tools can automatically water your pots, making it so that you don’t need to use a watering can. It’s not a massive game changer, mind you, but it’s a handy tool to speed up the growing process.
In this short guide, we’ll tell you how to get and use Pot Sprinklers.
How To Use Sprinklers | Schedule 1
You unlock Pot Sprinklers once you reach the Street Rat V Rank, which is pretty early in the game. They become available at Dan’s Hardware Store for $200 each. Buy however many you want, though we recommend just buying to try it out first.
When you have the Pot Sprinkler, go to your safehouse of choice. You now need to place the Pot Sprinkler adjacent to the pot you want it to water. For Grow Tents, you need to make sure that the hose in the sprinkler goes through one of the holes on the tent’s side. It should look something like the example above.
Then, prepare the pot. Put in the soil and the seed you wish to grow. Once that’s ready, look at the Pot Sprinkler and press the E key to activate it. It will pour water automatically until the pot is fully moisturized. That’s it!
If you’re using Soil Pourers as well, you can activate both the Soil Pourer and Pot Sprinkler at the same time. They’ll work together at the same time, so you just need to add a seed to the soil afterward.
So, there you have it, that’s how to use the Pot Sprinklers in Schedule 1. Note that these sprinklers don’t need you to fill them with water, so they automate the watering process entirely. However, they do take up extra space. Consider whether you prefer the automation or the extra space.
For even more automation, it’s a good idea to hire and assign a Botanist to work. For more details, check out our guide on assigning Botanists.
