Assassin’s Creed Shadows introduces a new battle pass type feature that you can unlock and progress through as you go further in the story. Luckily, this is actually completely free and will only require you to play the game in order to earn all of the rewards. In this guide, we will show you how to unlock The Legacy anomalies to help you level it up.

How to Unlock the Legacy Anomalies

Simply put, you just need to progress a little further into the main story in order to unlock it. You really do not have to play too much to get it, as it is something you can engage with extremely early in the game’s story.

For these anomalies in particular, you need to go through a chain of quests as Naoe that you can do relatively early in the game. We are not going to cover the specifics for each as that is beyond the scope of this guide, but they are also very simple to complete anyway.

Now, all you need to do is complete the following quests, which you will go through in the following order if you choose to do it all in one go:

  • Quest #1 – The Fatherless Monk
  • Quest #2 – The Killing Field
  • Quest #3 – Stolen Faith
  • Quest #4 – Heads Will Roll

While you are still going through these four quests, make sure to check out our guide on the best mastery skills to get for Naoe in Assassin’s Creed Shadows as well to make the combat portions much easier.

Once you have finished Heads Will Roll, you should now be able to engage with The Legacy anomalies. So yes, that is one way to unlock this feature and all you need to do is play through the game’s main story as you normally would.

While you are here, check out our guide on how to recruit all the allies in Assassin’s Creed Shadows as well. This is actually very relevant, as one of them will become recruitable throughout this quest chain, so keep the guide open on the side while you do this.
