How to Transfer Equipment Experience in Throne & Liberty
Got yourself an equipment upgrade? Let’s upgrade that… uhh, upgrade!
In Throne & Liberty, you have the typical Korean MMORPG systems that have you grinding for hours on end for even the smallest of stat upgrades. One very small but still convenient way to ease this is by transferring experience between your items, and in this guide, we will be showing you how to do it!
How to Transfer Equipment Experience
Before we begin, it should be noted that the item you want to transfer experience from should have been upgraded at least once. I know I am stating the obvious here, but I see so many people still asking about it.
Also, make sure that the item you want to sacrifice is not equipped. Check each of your loadouts too, since that will also make the item count as “equipped” even if it is not in the one that you are currently using.
Next, open the Equipment Enchanting interface either by pressing the period button (default) or navigating to it through the main menu. Naturally, you will also want to press the “Transfer” button on the upper left upon opening this menu.
In this interface, you should now select the item that you want to give EXP to. For the purpose of this guide, I’ll be selecting the junk helmet highlighted in the image below while my actual gear is unequipped.
Next, you now have to pick which item you want to sacrifice in order to level up your chosen gear piece. If the item you want to transfer from is not on the list, double-check that it is unequipped and that it actually has any experience to send over to begin with.
Once you have chosen an item, all you need to do is confirm the transfer process by clicking on the button at the bottom of the menu. The price will depend on a few factors, such as item rarity and amount of EXP transferred.
Before going through with it, make sure that you absolutely want to do this as you will not be able to recover the item that you will be sacrificing.
Also, keep in mind that the rarity of your items will matter. If you are sacrificing a rare item to level up a fellow unleveled rare item, then it will simply rise up to the same value as the fodder. A lower quality item being sacrificed to a higher one, on the other hand, will result in a far lower output level.
