You can get certain Martial Arts that will allow you to heal yourself and your allies, as well as give you passive HP regeneration!
In this guide, we’ll go over every possible method to heal during combat.
How To Regenerate HP in Combat
The best way to regenerate HP in combat is by using certain Martial Arts. There aren’t too many that allow you to heal, though, but these are the ones to look out for:
Revitalization Technique: You’ll heal 5% of your Max HP after every action, up to 50 HP. Also grants you the “Heal” ability. Can be chosen at the start of the game from either Lao Quanxue or Hua Qingqing.
Longevity Technique: You’ll heal 5% of your Max HP after every action, up to 250 HP. Does not give you the “Heal” ability, though. You get it when you kowtow with a pillow ten times in front of the Chuxiang Hero Statue.
Nine Provinces Manual: Heals 20% of your missing HP and reduces Status Effects by 10 after every action. Grants the “Regen” ability. You’ll get it once you join Yan Gexing’s sect.
Besides these, you can also equip the Lotus Gem Accessory, which you get if you pay 500 coins for Ye Yingping’s meal at the Nameless Village Inn. You’ll then need to appraise it at a pawn shop for 1000 coins.
Alternatively, you can trade the innkeeper, Hua Siniang, for it if you didn’t pay for the meal.
Either way, this accessory will grant you +8% Regen to your missing HP and MP.
Other than that, the only other way to heal in combat is by relying on the abilities of certain party members like Bai Touweng and Qu Wangyou. On that note, Qu Wangyou is by far the best healer in the game.
They come with the “Heal” ability by default, and even have Ultimate Moves that allow them to heal other party members!
Anyway, now you know how to regenerate you HP in combat, which should make encounters a lot more manageable for your hero.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
