One of the most surprisingly obtuse things you can try to do in Schedule 1 is to try to open jars.

In fact, all packages in this game work the same way. You can’t just open them up whenever you want from your inventory! It’s just not that simple, you need to use the right equipment and station for it.

In this short guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to do to open jars and other packages in this game.

How to Open Jars | Schedule 1

Jars in this game are considered a finished package. As such, the only way to open them is to use a Packaging Station. So, go up to any of your Packaging Stations and interact with it. Place the Jar you wish to open into the Output slot, as shown above.

Then, click on the blue “Package” arrow to turn it around.

Once the arrow is set to the red “Unpackage” option, press the Unpack button. Press it for as many jars as you put in output if you’re using the Packaging Station Mk2.

With that done, you’ll get the empty jars and the unpacked products on the left of the Packaging Station. It’s a pretty odd system, admittedly, but it’s as simple as that once you know what to look for!

Do note that this also works for other packages, such as Baggies. So, if you have some Baggies you wish to open up, you can do this same overall process for them.

Nonetheless, there you have it! That’s everything you need to know to be able to open up any Jars you have and unpackage their product in Schedule 1.

Are you still early in the game and need to start growing weed? Well, you’ll need seeds for that… but well, we know a guy who can help with that. Just check out our guide on how to get seeds in Schedule 1!

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
