You already know you’re going to win so why not make some problems for yourself along the way? Ruling over the known world alone is no fun so having an apprentice or two should make things more interesting. But given how huge the game is it might get confusing to find one in the first place. You may have already missed an easy catch for all we know. Let’s take a closer look and see where else we can turn to.

Apprentices are very useful to have as they have their own unique abilities that can really help you out of a sticky wicket. But as always there will be limitations to how many you can have, so let’s see how we can make those changes and get you more.

Throughout the game you’ll eventually notice how often you bring up the Tower Menu. Well now, isn’t this a coincidence? Since you’re already here go ahead and look at the left-hand side of the menu and you should see some numbers there telling how much you already have with you.

If you’re currently maxed out then you will need to Mastery in order to upgrade your Tower, you should go to your Allfire Flow menu and set everything towards Proficiency if you’re looking to recruit more.

Now if you don’t have an apprentice yet and you’re in the market for one then this is the part where you will have to do some exploring as they can only be found in buildings called The Runed Towers, which are placed randomly on the map. That applies for every playthrough so here’s hoping that one or two spawned nearby. And that’s how you get another apprentice! Next time you set out don’t skip the journey too much as you might miss those towers along the way.
