Sunkenlandis one of those post-apocalyptic, survival games where your sole purpose is to find ingenious ways of making it through each day. With danger looming beneath every rock and around every corner, players have to constantly be aware of their surroundings to avoid getting killed whilst scavenging.
In today’s article, we’ll give you a brief overview of 6 ways you can get food in Sunkenland in hopes of staying alive a bit longer. Let’s get to it!
Island Pickings
On the more obvious side of things, scavenging islands for food is everyone’s logical step forward. Exploring islands has many benefits among which is finding precious food supplies. From simple mushrooms to strawberries, islands can and will provide.
Make sure to check every corner of the island you are exploring as food can be found pretty much anywhere.
Underwater treasures
While it is a more dangerous option, scavenging underwater locations can reap many rewards. Food being one of them. If you happen to find a good underwater location, it could very well be worth checking it out. Keep a close watch for nearby sharks!
Sharks can and will kill you!
Grill
Building a grillto cook your food should be one of your main priorities in Sunkenland. Cheap to build and easy to use, the grill will allow you to cook food giving you better bonuses and allowing you to go without food for longer periods.
Note that the starting grill has durability valued at 300 which is not that much. Meaning you will have to build more.
Farming
Yes, farming is a viable option in this game. All you need is a planter and some food. For example, seeds to plant the crop you wish to grow. Build enough of them and you have secured a steady supply of food for yourself. For the time being at least.
Fishing
Again, on the more obvious side of things. Fishing in a land covered with water is a logical option, to say the least. Once you catch some fish, you can then use the grill we mentioned earlier to cook that fish and get even better food.
It’s a cycle…
Hunting
Last but not least, one of the most dangerous ways of obtaining food in Sunkenland is by hunting. While doing so, you constantly need to be on the lookout for sharks. As we mentioned earlier, sharks are your No.1 enemy in this game, so watch out!
Do remember that while it is possible to hunt even sharks in this game, it should be used as a last resort. On the upside, bigger fish kill more hunger.
