Act 4 of Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader is notorious for being difficult. Alone, the bosses in Act 4 are possible to defeat.
However, the fact that there’s a little gap between the appearance of bosses has had players wondering if there is a concrete strategy to get through them.
This guide will show you how to beat Uralon in Act 4 of Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader.
How To Beat Uralon in Act 4 of Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader.
Uralon is the first boss you have to kill in Act 4. He can give himself more attacks as the battle progresses, so the longer the fight lasts, the stronger he becomes.
Change The Difficulty
Simple as it says, if you’re having difficulty beating this boss, make the game easier. Alter the difficulty settings and make it easier. Don’t worry, there’s no shame in doing this.
Destroy His Shield
To beat him, first, find the enemy that’s giving him a shield. Use an AoE attack to find and kill the minion, making the fight exponentially easier.
Once Uralon’s shield is down, you can use your team to exact a barrage of attacks.
Placement
Place your team so that when the Chaos Space Marines attack, they will also hit fellow mobs.
Another trick is to get a tank or other companion close to Uralon as soon as possible. This will distract Officer AI from shooting the rest of your team from across the room.
Doing this will prevent Uralon from distancing himself from your team and giving Chaos Marines and Konrad extra turns.
These will Burst Fire your team to death with Heavy Bolters and Chain Lightning.
Things To Note
First, there is currently a bug that permanently corrupts save files. Players have reported their files being corrupted after they defeat Uralon.
It’s reported that the issue is somehow related to the Artillery Target Circles Uralon puts on the ground and what state they are in when you kill him.
Try to time killing him with no artillery circles out to avoid the save permanently corrupting.
And that’s everything there is on how to beat Uralon in Act 4 of Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader. Hopefully, this guide gives you some tips you can use when you reach Act 4 and face these bosses yourself.
