How to Assassinate Ember in The Kabukimono Quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Ember is one of the many targets you need to assassinate for the “The Kabukimono” quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

The Kabukimono is a gang of criminals that does as they please. Most of them are ronin, but there are even some samurai and members of prominent clans in the ranks. Ember is one such Kabukimono found within Osaka and one of your targets!

How to Assassinate Ember | The Kabukimono Quest Guide

You can find Ember in the western part of Osaka in the Izumi Settsu region. He’s in the northern part of the city, north of the Fisherman’s District and northwest of the Temple of Osaka.

For further reference, here’s a more zoomed-in look at the map.

Once you reach Ember’s camp, you should notice that he has a few other ronin with him. Ember is the man with the straw hat and green-and-black top.

Now, there are two things to keep in mind if you wish to assassinate him. The first is that he has 5 Health Segments. Make sure that you can do that much Assassination Damage if you wish to go for an actual assassination. Otherwise, you’ll need to finish him off in combat.

Another notable thing is that there are red powder barrels near Ember and his men. You can detonate them from range by using ranged weapons and tools, such as Naoe’s Kunai. This can help you take out Ember’s men, kill or damage Ember himself, and even just as a distraction to set up an assassination attempt. We recommend waiting for Ember to get close and detonating the barrels.

Whatever approach you take, simply kill Ember and his men to complete this objective for the “The Kabukimono” quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Since this assassination takes place in Osaka, it’s a good idea to fully explore Osaka Castle if you haven’t done so yet. You’ll get a Legendary Light Armor and 1 Knowledge Point for it.
