You’ll need to use a new tool called the Hand of Zagreus to remove a boulder blocking your path at some point during the main story in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0.
The Hand of Zagreus is a massive robotic hand that you can control from specific terminals. Thanks to its massive size and strength, moving a boulder with it is pretty trivial. That said, this is still a sort of puzzle, so it does require a bit of work!
In this guide, we’ll help you use the Hand of Zagreus to progress through the “Wasteland, Hark Back Glory of Old” Trailblaze Mission.
Control the Hand of Zagreus to Remove the Boulder Blocking the Path | Wasteland, Hark Back Glory of Old
You get introduced to the Hand of Zagreus tool near the end of the “Wasteland, Hark Back Glory of Old” Trailblaze Mission. At this point, you’ll need to use the Hand of Zagreus to remove a boulder and form a bridge.
To start, move the Hand of Zagreus near where your character is. Position it right above the so-called “boulder” and you should get the prompt to pick it up. Yes, the boulder is actually a steel cube! We have no idea why the game calls it a boulder. Anyway, just press the prompt to pick it up.
Then, move the Hand of Zagreus directly west. You should notice some blue blocks in front of a door. Place the “boulder” you’re carrying on the bottom right corner of the left set of blocks. If that sounds a bit confusing, just follow the arrow on the screenshot.
Doing so will reveal a Coin of Whimsy. While this is optional, we thought it was worth mentioning here. Use the Hand of Zagreus to float upward and grab the Coin of Whimsy.
Once you’ve done that, move the Hand of Zagreus east, to where your character is. You should notice an orange glowing hand sign filling a gap on the road. Approach it and interact with it to position the Hand of Zagreus as a bridge.
Now you just need to disengage the Hand of Zagreus controls and walk over it as a bridge to progress!
That’s everything you need to do to complete the “Control the Hand of Zagreus to Remove the Boulder Blocking the Path” objective during Honkai: Star Rail 3.0’s story.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
