Hero’s Adventure: Road to Passion allows you learn dozens of different skills but maxing them all out is going to take some hard work!

Most of the skills are simply leveled up by using them as often as possible, which can make leveling them up pretty grindy.

However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to optimize the grind and speed things up! If that’s what you’re looking for, read on and we’ll tell you the fastest ways to level up skills in this game.

Best Ways To Max Out Skills Guide

Gathering Skills

  • Mining: Levels up by mining ore nodes. Best done at the Langya Sword Pavillion, as the backyard has 10 mining nodes, including 3 Legendary ones. You can also buy Mining EXP books from the Langya Sword Pavillion sect shop.
  • Chopping: Levels up by chopping trees. You can get an accessory that doubles your chopping experience by completing the Nameless Village Blacksmith quest. The Soul Destroyer Forest is the best EXP source as it has many Epic and Legendary trees.
  • Harvest: Levels up by gathering plants and herbs. The Soul Destroyer Forest has multiple Epic herb patches as well as a Legendary one, making it the best EXP spot.
  • Bug-Catching: Levels up when you capture bugs. Complete Do Jian Ziyan’s quest in Chuxiang Hotel and choose to fight together to get a 100% EXP boost and higher chances to find rare bugs.
  • Fishing: Levels up by fishing, as you might imagine. The upper left corner of Lin’an City, the Soul Destroyer Forest, and the hidden waterfall in the lower left corner of Lin’an Region are great spots.

Crafting Skills

  • Craft Weapon: Levels up when you make weapons. The Langya Sword Pavillion gives you lots of weapon recipes via their Sect Quests and also sells EXP books in the Sect Shop.
  • Craft Armor: Levels up when you make armor. Can be leveled up at the Painting Shop in Lin’an City or the Pink Pavillion at Chuxiang City, but there appears to only be a single armor recipe in the game currently.
  • Cooking: Levels up when preparing food. The Dilang Butcher can teach you 1600 Cooking EXP, and cooking recipes are found frequently. Focus on higher-level food for more EXP.
  • Alchemy: Levels up when making pills through alchemy. Maxes out by completing the Taoist Sect’s tasks, and their Sect Shop also sells all the herbs you need for recipes.
  • Craft Tool: Levels up when you make tools. You can get recipes from the Nameless Village blacksmith and chests around town.

Every skill in this category can get a massive boost of around 3000 or so EXP by reading books as part of the Confucius Temple’s sect quest. Extremely helpful if you wish to max them out!

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
