Genshin Impact: Go Deeper Into the Defiled Chamber Quest Guide

As part of the new Khvarena of Good and Evil questline in Genshin Impact, the game will eventually task you to “Go Deeper into the Defiled Chamber”.

This acts as a side quest or objective of a larger quest, but the game isn’t too clear on what it really wants you to do.

If you’re having trouble figuring out what to do, this guide should help you out!

How to Complete the “Go Deeper Into the Defiled Chamber” Objective in Genshin Impact

You will get this objective as part of the “The Hymn of Tir Yazad” quest which requires you to enter and explore 3 different Defiled Chambers.

If you guessed that you will need to “go deeper” into all 3 of these chambers, you’re right!

You will need to thoroughly explore these small dungeons to find an item known as Spenta Hearts which are important to the Puri you’re introduced to in this questline.

To traverse the Defiled Chambers, you will need Sorush’s help. She’s one of the Puri and is the “gadget” you get at the start of the questline.

If you come across a large gap but notice a floating blue orb, switch to Sorush. Approach the blue orb with her and hold her Interact skill to make platforms appear so you can cross.

You can also use Sorush to move some floral-looking orbs in these chambers, which can be used as grapple points by your character.

While exploring, also look for floating green orbs with wings. Approach these spirits and escort them to their goal, taking out enemies in your path as you go.

These spirits are known as the Khvarena and will awaken the dormant Spenta Hearts which is what you are in these Defiled Chambers for!

Once you awaken all hearts within a chamber, follow the marker that leads to the exit. Leave the chamber which will then complete the objective!

Just repeat the process for the other Defiled Chambers and you’re all done.
