Find & Inspect the Missing Ship in Assassin’s Creed Shadows | The Iron Hand Guild Quest

During many of the quests in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, unless you turned guided mode on, you will be given relatively vague but straightforward clues that point you to your next objective. If you are somehow having a hard time figuring out how to pinpoint such locations, then this guide will help you with one particular step in The Iron Hand Guild.

Now, once you reach the point where you have to find and inspect the missing ship, you will get a handful of easy clues. Basically, you are told the following:

• The ship sailed in Omi and was last seen somewhere on Lake Biwa.
• The ship was supposed to pass near Okishima.

With these hints, it should be pretty obvious where you have to check, as it straight up tells you the location that you have to investigate. If you have scouts available, just start searching nearby to pinpoint its exact spot.

If you zoom in on that part of Lake Biwa, you will find that this marker is actually right on top of Okishima. This does not bode well for the ship itself, as it seems to have been capsized or hit the land and never left.

Once you approach the quest marker, you will find a few enemies camped out beside the wrecked ship. Take them out in any way you see fit and approach the part of the boat that you can loot. This will give you a shipping manifest.

The shipping manifest will give you a bit of a hint as to what to do next, though its destination is unfortunately already impossible to read due to the water damage.

And that is pretty much all you need to do in order to complete this step of the quest, which is hilariously simple as long as you actually use the scout mechanic properly. Armed with this knowledge, you can finally proceed with the rest of this quest line to find more of the targets!
