Abyssal Grimcore is one of the key resources you need to upgrade your airship’s altitude in Everwind, and getting it means hunting down Stone Golems. The problem is that these golems do not show up on just any island, and without knowing which biomes to look for them in, you can spend a lot of time flying around finding nothing.
In this guide, I will show you exactly which islands Stone Golems spawn in so you can track them down and get Abyssal Grimcore without the guesswork.
Stone Golem & Abyssal Grimcore Guide
Stone Golems are found inside large stone temples on islands with the Jungle biome. It is important to know that there will only be a single temple on the island. If there are multiple temples, then that island won’t have the Stone Golem.
Some of these islands with the Stone Golem will also have a large stone sword plunged into the ground nearby, which is another good indicator that you are in the right place. These islands start appearing at around 1500 to 1600 blocks in altitude. I have marked how the stone temple looks in the image below so you know exactly what to keep an eye out for when scanning islands with your Spyglass.

Inside the temple, you will find a single room. In the middle of the room, there are unstable floor tiles. Walk over them to break through and reveal a hidden room beneath. This is where the Stone Golem is found. Drop down and get ready to engage it in a fight.
How to Defeat the Stone Golem
The Stone Golem is a tough enemy so make sure you are well prepared before dropping down to fight it. It is weak to ice and electric attacks. Bringing a weapon of either type will make the fight easier. Most of its attacks are easy to dodge. The one attack you need to watch out for is its poison spit. Getting hit by this can deal a serious amount of damage so stay mobile and keep your distance when it winds up for it. The Stone Golem is also pretty easy to stun, giving you a large window to deal a lot of damage.
After taking enough damage, the Stone Golem will start spawning smaller enemies called Gronits. These are easy to kill but I strongly recommend leaving them alone. Defeating Gronits will actually heal the Stone Golem, which is the last thing you want when you are trying to bring it down.
Keep moving throughout the fight and use the environment to your advantage. Hide behind objects when the Golem winds up for a big attack and punish it whenever you get an opening. Stay patient, keep dealing consistent damage, and it will go down eventually.
One important thing to keep in mind is that defeating the Stone Golem does not guarantee an Abyssal Grimcore drop. Like most loot in Everwind, it is RNG based. You may get one on your first kill or you may have to fight several Golems before one drops.
Wrapping Up
That covers everything you need to know about finding Stone Golems and farming Abyssal Grimcore in Everwind. It can take a few kills before the drop shows up but now that you know exactly which islands to look for, at least the farming process itself is straightforward.
