You can gather a variety of Magic Liquid, Crystals, and Crystal Dust as you explore the floating islands of Everwind.

These are one of the many crafting resources in the game, primarily used for magical crafting recipes and potions. If that makes it sound like they’re rare… well, they are! But you can always find them more easily with some knowledge.

In this guide, I’ll tell you the best spots I know of for finding these various magical resources.

Crystals of Force, Force Crystal Dust, and Runalits

These three types of resources can be found together pretty often, and they spawn on nearly every early-game biome as far as I can tell. The only biomes they seem not to spawn in are the Rotten Lands, Desert, Savannah, and Jungle.

So, instead of looking for specific biomes, you want to look for structures. Look for dungeons, towers, chapels, things like that. You have a few examples of these structures in the image above.

Now, when you are exploring these structures, you want to look for the items shown above. They drop resources as follows:

  • Iron Cage for Crystals – They contain various Crystals of Force. Break them with a Pickaxe to get the Crystals.
  • Crystal Dust Holder – A bowl on a table, interact to grab some Force Crystal Dust.
  • Runalit and Crystal Holder – A small pedestal which holds a singular Runalit or Crystal of Force, interact to grab the item.

Aside from these, you’re also very likely to get Force Crystal Dust as a drop from enemies. Bosses might also drop Crystals of Force randomly when defeated at these locations.

Lastly, it’s worth noting that you can use Crystals of Force at the Processing Station to break them down into Force Crystal Dust. It’s not optimal if you’re low on Crystals, but it can help!

Crystals of Blaze and Blaze Crystal Dust

For these, you’ll want to look for Rotten Lands. These islands have a sickly green and pink color scheme to them, as you can see in the one shown in the example above.

Aside from being a good source of Rusty Steamer Metal Scrap, you can find Crystals of Blaze commonly in these islands.

Primarily, check the holders on the walls of the rusty Steamer ruins on these islands. However, sometimes you can also find dark blocks with a yellow glow that give Crystals of Blaze when broken.

If you want to get Blaze Crystal Dust, the best way is to just use the Crystals of Blaze at the Processing Station. The dust is extremely rare otherwise, as far as I can tell.

Magic Liquid

For this one, the best spots I’ve found are the dungeons on Desert and Savannah islands. As you can see in the example above, the “dungeon” icon on the Spyglass confirms there’s a dungeon on the Savannah island shown.

Within these dungeons, you just need to look for glass vials with a glowing green liquid in them. Simply interact to pick up the Magic Liquid!

Crystal of Spirit and Spirit Crystal Dust

Last but not least, for the Crystals of Spirit you’ll need to make your way past 1000 blocks of altitude. At that point, you’ll start seeing Jungle islands, like the one above.

Similar to other Crystals, you’ll primarily find these on holders within the various structures on these islands. Just watch out for the telltale green glow, which is pretty hard to miss usually.

The dust seems to be nearly nonexistent naturally, however, besides few enemy drops. So, I highly recommend just using the Crystals of Spirit at the Processing Station to turn them into Spirit Crystal Dust if you need a lot.

As a side note here, the chests within the Jungle’s structures usually contain some Magic Liquid. Worth checking them out, if you need more of that! Not that you need a reason to check chests, anyway, right?

Wrapping Up

That’s all you need to know about the various types of Crystals, Dust, and Magic Liquid you can find in Everwind. At least, all of the best locations I know of!

As always, though, the game’s randomization means there are likely spots that break the “rules” for these items’ spawns. Nonetheless, I’ve told you the ones I’ve had the best luck with, so I hope it helps you.

Now that you know where to get all of these magical resources, do you also need regular ores? Check out our guide on where to find the various ores.
