Vindicator Ship Class Guide for Everspace 2
The Vindicator ship class belongs to the Heavy Fighter category.
It has the best mobility of all Heavy Fighters which means it’s both resilient and agile. As such, this is an extremely versatile class!
Its unique traits are aimed toward making the Vindicator focus on using drones. This is supported by its passive effect, Reanimator.
Reanimator makes defeated enemy ships leave wrecks behind. These can be picked up and turned into allied Drones, allowing you to have up to 5 drones at once.
The drones spawned by Reanimator also have an unlimited lifespan and can be taken to other locations!
They also come in multiple varieties, but they all are here to help you out. These are the following types of drones available and their effects:
Sensor Drone – Increases your sensor’s range.
Combat Drone – Attacks enemy ships.
Webber Drone – Slows down nearby enemy ships.
Anti-Missile Drone – Shoots down incoming enemy missiles.
Shield Charge Drone – Recharges your ship’s shields.
Vindicators also have the Phalanx Ultimate ability to further support their drones. It makes your drones focus fire on a single target while massively boosting their fire rate.
Additionally, you will temporarily spawn missing drones when applicable. Plus, your drones will be fully invulnerable while Phalanx is active!
In the end, the Vindicator is a unique tactical ship class. You want to use your drones to overwhelm your foes, then turn their wrecks into more drones!
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
