How to Get NEW Secret Iron Greatsword in Elden Ring

The Iron Greatsword weapon has a huge secret: it has the biggest base damage in the greatsword category. You also have a lot of Ash of War options that you can infuse into this weapon. However, you will need to prepare yourself mentally since farming this weapon needs patience.

Misbegotten in Leyndell, Royal Capital

Farming this weapon can be very hard since the drop is random and there are only a few monsters that drop it. The Iron Greatsword drops from the red-maned Misbegotten found in Leyndell, Royal Capital.

Follow the ash-covered path which will lead you to the Forbidden Lands. You will encounter the red-maned Misbegotten along the way. There will be another one on the stairs. Defeat it and there’s a possibility the weapon will drop. Don’t worry if you don’t get it on your first try. Keep trying until you get the weapon.
