The Sleep effect can potentially turn the tide of battle in the Elden Ring, but there are very few ways to inflict it on enemies besides using consumable items. However, there are a couple of special weapons that can also put your opponents to sleep.
Best Sleep Weapons in the Elden Ring
There are only two weapons that can inflict the sleep status in the entire game – the Sword of St. Trina and St. Trina’s Torch. The sword is located near the Rotview Balcony Site of Grace, in the Forsaken Ruins, while the torch can be taken from a chest in the south-eastern portion of Consecrated Ground.
The Sword of St. Trina
This straight sword scales with Intelligence, Strength and Dexterity. It can be upgraded using the Somber Smithing Stones and requires Str 10 Dex 12 and Int 14 to use. The interesting part is that it also has a unique skill called Mists of Slumber, which causes the sleep meter to build up by 66 points.
The St. Trina’s Torch
This weapon scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Faith and can be upgraded using Somber Smithing Stones, like most weapons. It requires Str 10 Dex 10 and Fai 14 to use. Like the Sword os St. Trina, it has a unique skill, called Fires of Slumber, which builds up the sleep meter by 72 points, slightly faster than the sword.
