Golf with Your Friends is as straightforward as the title says, offering multiplayer courses that could be enjoyed by up to 12 players. A stable multiplayer connection and maybe jeering in your own Discord servers later, it’s immense fun for those wanting to connect with friends during these trying times.
But what if you want to see what your friend is doing, lining up their shots to cheer them on? Split-Screen should be perfect for this but does the game have one?
Co-Op Split-Screen – Golf With Your Friends

The short answer is yes, Golf with Your Friends does have a split-screen capability as per their Steam page. This would be good for those that are having a friend over so they can challenge each other through the various, crazy courses the game offers.
The developers have done a good job heeding player requests as they originally only planned to have the local multiplayer be a type of “hot seat” fare. What that meant was the players can only play with one controller and take turns when it’s their character’s time to hit the golf ball.
It, of course, garnered some frustrations from most of the playerbase which is why the Split-Screen co-op was developed not long after.
While multiplayer online is still the more popular choice for the people wanting to play this game, there’s an added charm to being able to play with someone that’s there physically.
So if you’re planning to get this game for a fun party night, have at it! It’s worth the shot (no pun intended)!
