Dinkum is an Australian-themed Sandbox game. It is a game similar to Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, where you will need to build up your village, explore lands and craft items, and meet animals that can be found in the world of Dinkum. This guide will show you what a Thunder Egg is and what you can do with it.

Thunder Egg Guide In Dinkum

Thunder Eggs are rare eggs that only appear during thunderstorms. If there is rain outside and lightning in the sky, there is a chance that a Thunder Egg will spawn. They can be hard to find as they can generate anywhere on the island.

One way to find them is to listen to the sound they emit: the crackling sound of electricity. When you hear this sound, look for a large, brown egg-shaped rock with lightning coming out of it. Though it can be picked up, it can be too large to fit in your inventory.

What to Do With Thunder Eggs

Thunder Eggs do not have a particular purpose in Dinkum other than selling and displaying. John will offer Dinks in exchange, but there is no set price. Take the Thunder Egg to John, and he will appraise it.

If he appraises it for less than 60,000 Dinks, it is better to sell the contents inside of it. You will need a pickaxe to break it open.

Inside the Thunder Eggs are four Opals, each selling for 15,000 Dinks. Alternatively, you can also put the Thunder Egg on display as your bragging rights.
