The Keening Spirit quest in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred is a short yet tricky side quest that will take you through the Diregloom Jungle to look for and help a spirit that is in distress.
Like most side quests in Diablo 4, The Keening Spirit quest will reward you with quite a bit of gold and XP when you complete it. So to help you earn these rewards, our guide will look at exactly what you need to do to complete this quest.
The Keening Spirit
To complete The Keening Spirit quest, you must first find the distressed spirit. The spirit can be found in the Traveler’s Hike area just south of Upper Kurast, the area where you start the quest.
Tracking the quest will highlight the area you need to go to on your map, so make sure you do that before starting your journey. Getting to Traveller’s Hike will require you to go through the Diregloom Jungle, an area that is packed with tons of enemies.
When you get to the Traveller’s Hike, you will need to kill the Spirit-Gorged Hollow to interact with the spirit. The whole area will be crawling with enemies, with the Spirit-Gorged Hollow located to the north of this area. You will need to kill most of the enemies here, as they will aggro on to you when you approach the Spirit-Gorged Hollow. So before making your way to Traveler’s Hike, make sure you are well-equipped.
Once the Spirit-Gorged Hollow is dead, make your way to the distressed spirit to complete the quest. The spirit can be found at the same spot the Spirit-Gorged Hollow is in when you first encounter it. Simply standing in front of the spirit will complete The Keening Spirit quest.
