Items in Death Must Die come in a variety of rarities, with Mythic items being some of the rarest and most powerful in the game.
Mythic is the highest rarity for random items, meaning they’re second only to Unique items!
In this guide, we’ll tell you what you need to know to farm as many Mythic items as you want.
Best Way to Farm Mythic Items
Death Must Die has a bit of an interesting mechanic when it comes to item drop rarity. Rarity is dynamically adjusted based on your total playtime of the game, maxing out when you hit 10 hours.
You’ll see items of all rarities spawn much more frequently when you have 10 hours of playtime compared to when you’ve just started playing. This, of course, applies to Mythic Items!
So, the first thing you’ll want to do to farm Mythic-rarity items is to just keep playing the game until you have 10 or more hours of playtime logged in your save.
The other main factor for item rarity is the difficulty you play at, with difficulty 30 having the best chances of spawning Mythical items by far.
You can lower difficulty if you want, of course, but we would advise against trying to farm Mythical items at all unless you can beat difficulty 20 and above at the very least.
Other than that, though, there’s not much else you can do to make farming Mythic items easier or faster.
