The Unholy Alliance update for Cult of the Lamb is finally here, letting us unlock The Goat form as well as new Corrupted Tarots and Relics.
The Goat is a new playable character in the co-op mode, but you can unlock them in single-player as well. Although they provide no gameplay benefits, unlocking them does also unlock a new set of Corrupted Tarots and Relics to power up The Lamb during crusades!
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to get The Goat and all the new Corrupted Tarots and Relics from this update.
How To Unlock The Goat & Corrupted Tarots, Relics | Cult Of The Lamb: Unholy Alliance Update
The first thing you have to do to unlock The Goat as well as the new Corrupted Tarots and Relics is beat the game. That is, you have to defeat the final boss of the game, The One Who Waits. Once you’ve done so, just start a new crusade!
Now, you should let The Lamb die during at any point during the crusade. Your first death after beating the final boss will take you to a new white realm with a statue of The Lamb. Interact with the statue and finish the scene to be revived. Corrupted Tarots and Relics should be available from now on, but you still need to do a bit more work to get The Goat Fleece.
After the scene, you will be revived and be allowed to continue the current crusade. Either finish the run or leave and return to your cult, it’s up to you.
Returning to The Temple and Unlocking the Fleece
When you eventually finish your crusade and return to your cult, head to your Temple. Interact with the Altar and enter the Crown menu. You should now see The Goat Fleece at the bottom of the menu, purchase it with 5 Sin to permanently unlock it. If you need more Sin, you can get it from absolving your followers.
Do note that The Goat Fleece is purely cosmetic. It provides no gameplay changes of any kind, but you can use it along with the new transmog system to give The Lamb a fresh look.
If The Goat Fleece didn’t appear for you, this is due to a known bug currently. To fix it, just enable co-op once from the pause menu and disable it. Check the Crown menu again after doing so and the fleece should now appear properly.
But well, there you have it, that’s all you need to know to unlock The Goat and the new Corrupted Tarots and Relics in Cult Of The Lamb: Unholy Alliance. The Goat is merely cosmetic, but the new Corrupted items are extremely powerful… for a price. Make good use of them as you go into crusades to heal the Bishops!
