The best place to look for minerals and resources like Ores and Gems is in the Mines at the Cavern. Players are introduced to the Mine when they meet Kira. She also gives you a sword to use against the several monsters you will encounter in the Mines. The “Into the Mines” quest requires you to reach the 5th level of the mines to turn the elevator on.

Traversing the Mines at first is difficult for new players. This guide will help you go deeper into the Mines and accomplish the Quest “Into the Mines”.

How to Get Deeper Into the Mines

The mines are divided into separate floors or levels. For example, the first floor is level one, while the next one is level 2, and so on and so forth.

Once you enter the mines, you will see several stones that you can mine using your pickaxe. This is why this place is great for stone-based resources.

To get to the next level, you will need to find a hole. The hole will appear randomly in one of the stones you destroy. So just keep on mining until you eventually find the hole that will lead you to the next level.

Take note that the mines are full of hostile creatures like this slime. But don’t worry, simply use your sword to fight against them and you will be rewarded with experience points.

Once you’ve reached the 5th level, you will officially end the quest. Afterward, if you exit the mine, you will not start from level 1 anymore. It will automatically start you at level 5 since that is where you activated the elevator.
