With that said, the best weapon you can get early on is the General’s Sword. You can buy it for 10000 gold from Beiping in the You Province after Chapter 1. If you need the money for it, you can sell any other unwanted equipment you have.

Gems and Accessories

When it comes to your Gem of choice, we recommend the Scorch Gem. It boosts the damage you deal with parries by 10% at Level 1. The effect increases as you craft more Scorch Gems, too. You’ll be parrying a lot when dealing with tougher foes in the game, so this Gem always comes in handy.

Remember, you can craft Gems yourself by using Pyroxene at any Inn or camp.

Lastly, for your Accessory, we recommend the Divine Bird’s Wing. This accessory gives you a 20% increase to HP, making it much easier for you to stay alive during longer battles.

You’ll get it as a reward for completing missions in Puyang. Check your letters in-game and look for one from a “Man from Puyang”. Open it to claim the Divine Bird’s Wing accessory as a reward.
