Assassinate Takahashi Inoshichi in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Takahashi Inoshichi is the final target you need to assassinate as part of the “The Twisted Tree” main story quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

You can find Inoshichi chilling out in his manor somewhere in Kyoto. If you’re stealthy enough, you can even take him out easily without alerting his guards and servants. It’s easier said than done, though, but we’re here to help!

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to easily find and assassinate Takahashi Inoshichi.

Assassinate Takahashi Inoshichi | The Twisted Tree Quest

You can find Takahashi Inoshichi at his manor in Kyoto, in the Yamashiro region. The manor is in the spot marked on the map above, just a little to the west of Honnoji Temple.

Before you go, we recommend having Mastery Skills and Engravings that allow you to do 5 Health Segments when attempting assassinations.

To reach Inoshichi easily, we recommend starting from the northern part of the manor. You should see a large crooked tree there. Climb the tree and you’ll be overlooking the manor, which is quite convenient!

Jump from the tree to the pond in the courtyard below. Stay underwater and continue moving south to avoid detection. You should emerge once you go under the bridge and approach the main building nearby.

As you get out of the water, continue southeast to find the nearest entrance to the manor. A patrolling guard might be near the entrance, as shown above. Assassinate them quietly and then enter the manor.

As soon as you’re inside, turn to your left to find another door right next to you. Open it and go through.

Then, go down the hallway and take the corner to your left.

Lastly, open the first door to your right after taking the corner.

Enter the room and you’ll see Takashi Inoshichi calmly sitting there, reading a scroll.

As we mentioned before, he has 5 Health Segments. You can instantly kill him if you can do that much damage or have Guaranteed Assassinations enabled. Otherwise, you’ll just deal damage and initiate combat. This will also alert nearby guards, who’ll rush to aid their master.

Either way, finish him off to complete the “Assassinate Takahashi Inoshichi” objective in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This will also complete “The Twisted Tree” main quest!
