Deck your party with all the different characters!

Granblue Fantasy Relink offers a decent amount of playable characters. To use them, you have to unlock them and put them in your party. This allows you to have access to different characters with different movesets and usages.

To unlock them, you need to get Crewmate Cards. You can trade in these Crewmate Cards to unlock one character per card. So, how do you get your hands on some crewmate cards?

How to Get Crewmate Card and Unlock All Characters

You can get Crewmate Cards through just playing the game, basically. You’re given some as you progress through the chapters. To speed it up, you can also get some through doing quests

To start with, you can get one Crewmate card after finishing the following chapters:

  • Chapter 3
  • Chapter 6
  • Chapter 9

There are some quests that award crewmate cards too, they are listed below:

  • Saga Grande: The Beginning
  • The Saga Continues: Ice
  • Winds of Antiquity
  • No One Likes Leftovers
  • Hide and Chic

Something to keep in mind is that all of these quests are rated either “Hard” or “Very Hard” meaning you’ll have to level up a bit before you can use them.

Another way to get Crewmate Cards is through the Quick Quests. These are daily quests that offer various rewards for completion. This is a bit confusing though, as these quests don’t give you any Crewmate Cards upfront.

Instead, you get Dalia Badges or Gold Dalia Badges. These can be traded in for Crewmate Cards in the Knick Knack shack. You need 7 Gold Badges to unlock one card, so you’ll be doing a few of these for sure. Thankfully, they don’t take that much time to complete.

You are randomly assigned quests, so we can’t list any specific ones to go for this time. As you keep doing these though, you’re sure to get a sizable amount of Badges eventually.

The last method of getting Crewmate Cards is by far the slowest one. Every time you get a new Skyfarer Grade, or when you progress from one difficulty to the others, you get a crewmate card. So for example, if you go from being able to do Normal Quests to Hard Quests, you will receive some crewmate cards.

You get fewer Crewmate Cards from these than the story progression, so it’s best not to count on these for farming cards. Just consider them a bonus!

It is possible to have enough Crewmate Cards eventually to unlock every single Ally in the game. It takes a while though, and by the end, it doesn’t matter much anyway. This is because you need to spend time with all of the different allies to rank them up and make them more useful.

If you unlock a character too late in your playthrough, it’s probably smarter to just play one you’re used to and have experience with. Be sure to be careful when choosing what characters to unlock, it’s a very important decision!

This should be enough of a guide to help you get started on farming some Crewmate Cards. Whether you just want some cards early on or want to collect all of them, you really can’t go wrong.
