Crab Champions has surprised everyone with its fast-paced roguelike shooter action and a fun arsenal of weapons.
As you fight hordes of enemies and go through the various islands, you will be able to pick up different weapons in each run.
But, which weapons should you be picking up? Well, read on and we’ll tell you which ones are the absolute best.
Current Best Weapons in Crab Champions
A quick note before we get started: note that this ranking is only applicable as of this writing.
Crab Champions is still in development, being an Early Access title. As such, the developers are still balancing weapons and adding new ones!
The weapons that are amazing now might get nerfed and not be as good later on, and vice-versa.
With that out of the way, let’s go over the best weapons in the current version of the game!
Blade Launcher
This weapon is the best when it comes to taking out large groups of enemies. Every blade it shoots hits multiple times and it also has piercing properties, allowing it to hit multiple enemies at once.
Position yourself to line up your enemies in front of you and fire away! The blades will shred through the enemies with ease, putting down hordes in seconds.
Minigun
Arguably the best overall weapon in the game currently. It rains bullets like no other, has a huge amount of ammo, and it also deals good damage.
On top of that, it basically benefits from every possible mod and upgrade. You don’t need to aim for any specific setup when using it, so it’s also the easiest weapon to use in the game.
Frankly put, there is pretty much no downside to the minigun as it is now!
Sniper Rifle
This extremely accurate gun might be a bit slow at first, but it deals insane damage and can pierce through multiple enemies at once.
If you pick up upgrades to fire rate and critical damage, it really starts to shine as one of the best weapons. It will deal high damage quickly to lines of enemies.
It’s not one of the easiest weapons to use, however, so you might feel that it’s lacking at first. Don’t let the first impressions deter you, get used to it and you’ll see why this weapon is so well-regarded!
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
