Totems can be found randomly across the islands. There’s no telling when a Totem will appear, so keep an eye out for them!
Most of them have a chance to provide either a blessing or a curse. Others will provide both at the same time. Whether you wish to take the risk is up to you.

There are currently 9 Totems in the game, let’s go over all of their effects.
Every Totem in Crab Champions
First, we have the Health Totem. It will either double or halve your current Max HP. It’s a 50% chance for either.
The Crystal Totem is a bit simpler. It will take away 33% of your Max HP but will give you a set amount of crystals to use in shops. The amount of crystals increases with subsequent uses.
The Chance Totem lets you gamble your HP. You can choose to spend 10% of your Max HP for a 25% chance to get a random pickup.
The Random Totem lets you gamble your inventory, instead. It takes your inventory and completely randomizes everything you have, giving you a new loadout.
The Fuse Totem is a straight upgrade for you, but it has a trick. Once you get close to it, an invisible fuse goes off. Use the totem before it explodes and you will get a random pickup.
The Gamble Totem is exactly as it says! It lets you gamble a set amount of crystal for a 25% chance of getting a random pickup.
The Glass Totem will also give you a random pickup for free when used. However, it will break apart if hit by anything. Don’t fight near it.
The Gold Totem is rare but is guaranteed to give you a Legendary item. Use it to lose 25% of your max HP and get a random Legendary pickup guaranteed. We recommend using this one always.
Lastly, we have the Greed Totem. It will give you a random Greedy Perk when used. These perks give you a huge benefit but with a similarly huge drawback.
As an example of a Greedy Perk: Bribe will increase your Max HP by 500%, but you will lose 5% of your crystals every time you take damage!
So, there you have it! That’s all the current Totems in the game. Carefully gauge whether or not they’re worth using when you find them.
