Hell is Us: Everything You Need to Know This Upcoming Action-Adventure Game

Hell is Us is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Nacon and Rogue Factor. It has been announced a month ago with a target release date on PC, Xbox Series, and PS5 sometime in 2023. Judging from the trailer, the game seems like a mix between Death Stranding and Control with its bleak and eerie atmosphere as well as outstanding visuals.

There’s not much information going around regarding the game, but I’ll do my best to gather everything that’s been out there so far.

According to the game’s Steam page, Hell is Us is a 3rd-person action-adventure game that is a blend of responsive melee combat and rewarding exploration. The game is set in a hostile world brought forth by the civil area, during which time a mysterious calamity has appeared which caused the appearance of supernatural creatures.

As the main character, you are plunged into a journey where you’ll have to fight tons of supernatural enemies using your drone and sword, all while uncovering the truth behind the appearance of such creatures.

What the Game Offers

The developers claimed that the game will provide you with an immersive experience wherein there will be no compass, map, or quest marker to guide you throughout your journey.

Every part of exploration will rely on your instincts which are at the core of the game’s adventure. In a way, this can be similar to the Souls games where you have to rely on your gut feeling and experience as you progress through the story.

There are a few weapon types you can choose from as well, including spears and axes. All of these weapons will be specifically designed for defeating supernatural creatures, and you’ll also be able to unlock skills that will help improve your survivability and combat skills.

The game is currently being developed in Unreal Engine 5, so we will be expecting impressive graphics once the game finally comes out. As of now, all we can do is wait for more information to be presented in the near future.
