As the Battlefield 6 community’s hunt for Easter eggs continues, one player has managed to find a secret room that’s been hidden in plain sight.
The secret room in question can be found in the in-game shooting range, and one player has managed to discover it and find a bunch of stuff.
The discovery came when a determined player managed to clip into an otherwise inaccessible interior space in the main shooting range area.
He then went on to r/Battlefield to share his discovery. Here’s the room in question:
The room itself doesn’t yet appear to have any obvious functional purpose. There are no treasure chests, no loaded weapon arsenals, no immediate spawn points.
Instead, it seems more like a placeholder area that was never fully polished. However, in the world of FPS Easter eggs, that mystery only adds to the appeal.
From what the community has gathered, the hidden space is fairly plain. It has the kind of layout and empty design one might expect from a testing or staging area: bare walls, sometimes open ceilings, and a few props scattered around.
In one theory, the room may have been used internally by the developers to test vehicles or mechanics in earlier builds of the game.
A user commented, saying, “Looks like a garage, and maybe that glass is looking outside? Perhaps it’s intended or was intended to be the vehicle portion of the range. Cool find!”

Some players speculate that it might serve as a future unlock or special event space. Others think it’s simply a leftover area and will remain inaccessible or irrelevant in official gameplay.
At this stage, there’s no confirmation from the developers that the room was intended for any specific purpose.
How Do People Find These Rooms, and Do They Actually Mean Anything?
Don’t ask about the process of finding such rooms. Most people find them by accident. It’s not that they wander around searching for hidden things in games.
But does it mean anything, or is it only something that’s covered up (lost project)?
Well, developers don’t build something without any purpose, so if the room was built, it had one. Maybe it is an Easter egg, or a cover-up of something that didn’t have time to finish.
Hidden areas also often hint at upcoming DLC, events, or features. If this room is a “coming soon” space, it could mean fresh content is on the way.

One user commented:
“At the very least I assume this would be where you could switch weapons without returning to menu. But they either didn’t have time or were having too many issues trying to implement.”
As of now, neither Electronic Arts nor the studios behind Battlefield 6 have formally commented on the hidden room.
That suggests either it’s low-priority or they’re planning something and simply haven’t revealed it yet.
