Just a few days after the release of Battlefield 6, and we’re already seeing a huge wave of bans as EA aggressively clamps down on cheaters.
It’s not surprising that a major release such as Battlefield 6 will invite a lot of cheaters. As such, EA has been hard at work in stomping down those who use cheats while playing the game. In particular, the company has been rolling out bans for Cronus Zen users.
In case you’re wondering, the Cronus Zen software causes your character to move way faster than normal during matches. Of course, this is just one of the many unfair advantages that the program offers.
What Happens When a User Gets Banned
Needless to say, those who use the program were among the first to get banned, with most of them experiencing temporary bans. Others, however, received more severe punishments.
For those who are “lucky”, they only got a 3-day ban when the game detects the usage of the program. However, those who weren’t that lucky got lifetime bans.

The game will show a “Your account has been disabled” prompt once a player is kicked after Cronus Zen is detected in his computer. Meanwhile, those who were permanently banned received a prompt saying “We have permanently banned access to this product.”
To combat this, the devs behind Cronus Zen told its users to pause the use of the program for now as they’re working on a solution. As such, players and EA can expect this to be a recurring problem going forward.
On another news, several reports have been going around regarding players unable to play the campaign due to Battlefield 6’s always online requirement.
