Polymer is an uncommon resource in Ark Fjordur, and it is renewable, non-combustible, and non-refundable. They are exceptionally robust, and some animals produce light plates naturally. However, if consumed, it is extremely harmful to human health.

Organic Polymer is a type of polymer that is found in nature. It can always be substituted for Polymer, but it isn’t as good because it has a spoilage timer and only stacks up to 20, whereas standard Polymer would stack up to 100.

Construct It

In ARK, there are two methods to get polymer. The first is via constructing it. The engram is only available at level 40 because it is a mid-game item. A fabricator will also be required as a station for the polymer to be crafted on. Fabricator unlocks all of the essential and precursor engrams at level 48, so level up and unlock them all. You would also need 2 Obsidian and 2 Cementing Paste.

Bee Cave

Players may execute a similar agricultural feat in a Bee Cave, arguably riskier (but more profitable). In a Bee Cave, players may collect Organic Polymer from the different buildings among waves of honey, but they’ll need a tool. Players will require a Chainsaw, Sword, or Wooden Bat to collect Organic Polymer from corpses, much like they would while harvesting it from corpses.

It should be noted; however, that tamed monsters such as Magmasaur or Doedicurus can extract hundreds of Organic polymers each minute from the structures within a Bee Cave.
