ARK Fjordur: All Swamp Biome Rune Locations

Specifically, you will need to collect 200 runes scattered all throughout the Fjordur map just to increase your level cap by 10. This means visiting various locations and checking certain spots where those runes can be found. One such location is the Swamp which is a large island that you can find on the western side of the map between the two major islands.

This location contains 9 runes in total, and I’ll show you the locations of each one of them in this guide.

All Swamp Biome Rune Locations in ARK Fjordur

You can find the first rune in coordinates 40.4, 05.2 just right next to a hole in the ruins. Meanwhile, the second rune isn’t too far off from the first one. You simply have to exit the ruins and head left. It will be at the bottom of the cliff lying on the ground at coordinates 42.7, 04.6.

The third one is inside the swamp itself, just outside a small hut. The exact coordinates are 45.9, 11.5. The fourth rune is on coordinates 44.9, 15.9, sitting just at the edge of the swamp island.

Cave Runes

The remaining five runes are located inside the swamp cave.

To find the entrance, simply head over to coordinates 49.4, 14.3. Keep in mind that the cave is filled with poisonous air, so using a gas mask is very important if you want to survive.

Dive deep into the cave and head over to coordinates 47.6, 13.9 to find the fifth rune right next to a small waterfall. The sixth one is a fair distance from the fifth rune, at coordinates 49.1, 10.0. You can find it outside of a closed gate to an unspecified room.

The seventh rune requires a grappling hook to reach its location. If you have enabled cave flying for your flyers, that should do as well. You can find down the cliff just behind where you can find the Artifact of the Brute, on coordinates 47.3, 07.7.

As for the eighth rune, this one is underwater. So if you have a SCUBA tank, I highly suggest you wear one if you didn’t upgrade your Oxygen stat. If you have a decent Oxygen stat, you should be fine as the rune isn’t that far off. Its exact coordinates are 45.5, 12.6.

Lastly, the ninth rune will also require a bit of parkour and grappling. You can find it on coordinates 43.0, 10.4, sitting on a platform that’s hanging on the wall.
