With the newest Fjordur map released just a few days ago, players are wondering where they will be able to farm various resources in the game. Even though Fjordur has been out for a long while as a mod, the official changes somewhat switch up the location of certain resources.

Element Shards and Element Ores, for example, are only obtainable deep within the ocean. The same goes for Ambergris. These resources are useful for a lot of stuff.

Element Shards are mainly used to power certain Tek structures including the Tek Cloning Chamber and Tek Generator. Meanwhile, Element Ores are used to craft Element.

Then there’s the Ambergris which is a food you give to a baby Magmasaur. That said, if you’re struggling to find any of these resources, this guide is for you.

Where to Find Element Shards, Ore & Ambergris in ARK Fjordur

All three resources can be a bit tricky to find. Luckily, you can find all three of them within a single area on the Fjordur map. Specifically, you’ll want to dive deep into the ocean on coordinates 51.6, 15.0. There, you’ll find a hole near an underwater scar. All you need to do is go down that hole and dive all the way to the bottom.

On the seabed, you’ll find a handful of rocks that you can mine to get these resources. You’ll want to look for rocks with a gold section for Element Shards and Ambergris as well as the rocks with a purple crystal for the Element Ores.

Do keep in mind that the location is pretty deep underwater, so make sure you have a full SCUBA armor set equipped. Also, there will be Mosasaurs swimming around in this area, so make sure you avoid them while you’re looking for these resources.

If you have a Tek Stryder, you’d be able to maximize the amount of resources you can find in this area.
