“Resistance’s Role Model” is one of the most unique quests in Throne & Liberty.
You won’t be busting into an Orc camp and slaying dozens of enemies. Instead, you’ll have to use sneakier methods… disguise and infiltrate! Use your Morph powers to disguise as an Orc and explore the camp to recover a Specter Soul Shard.
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to complete this quest. Time for some tactical espionage action!
Resistance’s Role Model | Throne & Liberty Guide
To start the “Resistance’s Role Model” Exploration Codex quest in Throne & Liberty, head to the Watcher’s Post in the Fonos Basin region of Laslan. We’ve marked its spot above.
However, do note that you should first complete the “Land of the Wild” Exploration Codex, which is also in the Fonos Basin region. Completing it unlocks the Orc Brawler Morph. You’ll need it for this quest!
Once you do have the Orc Brawler Morph and head to the quest start location, find and talk with the Watcher’s Post Captain.
After receiving your instructions from the Captain, go east of the Watcher’s Post to find a catapult.
Use the catapult and then Glide Morph to land on the edges of the Orcs’ camp. Try to keep out of sight, as being found can mess up the quest’s progression and prevent you from obtaining key items until you restart. Leave the area immediately and re-use the catapult to prevent any glitches if you get found
Anyway, when you do land, use your Orc Brawler Morph.
Then, walk all the way north to the Fire Cave. The Orcs won’t attack you as long as you are disguised as an Orc Brawler, so don’t worry about them.
Once you enter the Fire Cave, go all the way to the back of the cave to find a throne with a Specter Soul Shard. Pick up the Specter Soul Shard, but do be warned that doing so will break your disguise. The Orcs will attack you, so be ready to either fight or flee before you grab it!
Either way, return to the Watcher’s Post Captain with the Specter Soul Shard in your possession to complete the “Resistance’s Role Model” quest in Throne & Liberty!
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
