Magithread is one of the many crafting materials you can get in Throne & Liberty, but it’s a surprisingly tricky one to find.
You can use Magithread to craft various magically enhanced armor sets. As you can imagine, this means that Magithread is highly coveted in Solisium but it’s actually quite hard to get. In classic MMORPG fashion, you’ll have to do some hardcore farming for it!
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get your hands on this extremely useful crafting material.
How to Get Magithread | Throne & Liberty
First and foremost, it’s important to note that there are different tiers of Magithread for you to get in Throne & Liberty. They are as follows, from most common to rarest:
Magithread
Quality Magithread
Rare Magithread
Precious Magithread
Puzzlingly, the basic Magithread is actually the hardest to get. Despite being the most “common”, it seems to not drop from any enemies in the game.
Instead, you get it by redeeming Selection Chests when you are in the Crafting menu. You get Selection Chests automatically whenever you complete quests and contracts, so you should have some from just playing the game normally. To redeem them for Magithread, click on the chest-shaped icon next to Magithread while you’re looking at a crafting recipe that requires it.
Farming Higher Tier Magithread
Alternatively, you can just skip the basic Magithread if you don’t really need it. Instead, go straight to farming Quality Magithread. However, you can’t disassemble Quality Magithread into Magithread. Nonetheless, Quality Magithread is a drop from common enemies such as Blackhowl Wolves, Brutal Wolves, and Goblin Butchers.
You can then also use5 Quality Magithreads to craft 1 Rare Magithread, if needed. Similarly, you can use 5 Rare Magithreads to craft 1 Precious Magithread. You just can’t disassemble them into lower tier versions.
Now, the easiest area to farm Quality Magithread is the Blackhowl Plains. Both the Brutal Wolves and Blackholw Wolves drop the material. It’s going to be quite grindy, though, as the drop rate is fairly low. It’s a good idea to do regional events like the Wolf Hunting Contest or Exploration Codex tasks like the “Plain-Running Hunter”while farming. If nothing else, they break up the monotony!
Once you get to Level 50 or so, you can start farming Rare and Precious Magithreads from Marshark enemies. They inhabit the Swamp of Silence region and drop both higher tiers of Magithread.
But well, that’s everything you need to know to be able to get every tier of Magithread in Throne & Liberty. We hope this helps you with your crafting!
