Wuthering Waves: Legacy of the Lasting Night Guide

Legacy of the Lasting Night is one of the new main quests in Wuthering Waves 1.3, continuing the main story of the game.

In this quest, you find yourself in the Bank of Life, a facility in the depths of the Black Shores. Find a way to leave the facility and you’ll get to explore the new Black Shores Archipelago region, full of new encounters, stories, and more!

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to complete the “Legacy of the Lasting” night quest.

Legacy of the Lasting Night Guide

The “Legacy of the Lasting Night” main quest starts right after you beat the previous main quest in Wuthering Waves, “Hidden Beneath the Waves”. A cutscene will play out and you will appear in an underground facility in the Black Shores. As soon as you gain control of your character, move forward and talk with the robot in front of you and to the right.

KU-Nana, the robot, will tell you to use the nearby key to open the door. Pick up the key, which is a floating device similar to an octahedron. Take it to the triangular hole in the wall to activate the door and open it.

Once you go through the door, look for another robot to your left. This is KU-Key, which you can control to open portals from Data Walls.

Shoot at the Data Wall in front of you to try out KU-Key’s abilities. Then, cross through the newly-opened portal.

After crossing the portal, you should see a chest in front of you. It’s not necessary for the quest, but you should open it nonetheless. Then, position yourself near the barricade in the hallway and fire a portal into the next Data Wall, shown above. Go back through the Data Wall you used before and you should end up on the other side of the barricade.

Reaching the Surface

Go all the straight ahead after coming out of the portal and you will reach a new room. There’s an inactive elevator here, as well as another Data Wall. Fire a portal into the Data Wall and go through it.

This will take you to another room where you can see a key to your left. Make sure to check the room first, though, as there’s also another chest near the back wall. Then, pick up the key and return through the portal you just used.

Place the key into the triangle slot on the floor near the elevator. This will activate the elevator’s controls, letting you use it to call the elevator to the current floor.

Call the elevator down and then stand on it. Activate it once more to ride it up when you’re ready to leave the Bank of Life.

Once you’re at the top, just do what KU-Nana says. Rush straight ahead through the large door and you’ll leave the Bank of Life facility! This will also complete the “Legacy of the Lasting Night” main quest and also unlock the next main quest for the story in Wuthering Waves.
